The 2010 Western Division Champion Douglasville Bulls team came within one hit of defeating the Berkley Lake Tides in the third and deciding game of their championship series last season, and will field another strong club this season. The Bulls had six representatives in the SBL All-Star game a year ago.

The Douglasville Bulls are starting their 17th season as an organization, with 2011 marking the third season in the Sunbelt League.

The Bulls play at Norton Field, the centerpiece of a new second-year sports complex, located at 6246 Cedar Mountain Road in Douglasville. Last summer the Bulls became the first team to play on the baseball field the team shares with the Douglas County High School Tigers baseball team. There are at least five high school graduates from Douglas County schools on the Bulls’ 26-man roster.

2011 marks the third season in the Sunbelt League. The Bulls are owned by former major league catcher Todd Pratt. This year will be coach Pratt's fifth season leading the Bulls.
