The Atlanta Crackers beat the Douglasville Bulls in a late night thriller on Wednesday night. In the bottom of the 12th the Atlanta Crackers broke through and scored the winning run off of Bulls reliever Gray Griffith. Greg Hendrix got the win for the Crackers by throwing 3 1/3 scoreless innings of relief. The Bulls were winning 3-1 early in the game until Crackers SS Shawn Payne hit a bases loaded double to tie the game at 3. The Atlanta Crackers are set to take on the Rockdale A's in a best of three series for the SBL title. Game 1 will be played at 7pm at Norcross with Games 2 and 3 on Saturday at Gwinnett Stadium.
